Not sure if this is the right board to post this but... Mixing harmonies in at the right volume has always been a problem for me. I usually mix them in too loud and I'm trying to fix this problem, but I think I still have this problem. So feel free to tell me if they're too loud. So, Yayoi, don't follow my example when it comes to mixing in harmonies ^^'' I know harmonies are supposed to be lower in volume than the melody, but I hate it when nice harmonies are mixed in too low and they're not heard, which is probably why they're too loud most of the time. Was the balance between the harmonies and the melodies okay in the Happy Birthday dub I mixed? www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyAemYPu7Ok

i actually think the way you mix harmonies is great i don't like it too when nice harmonies aren't to be heard, it's really a waste for the ones who sing them actually since ppl can't hear them even I didn't know that there are harmonies in some NEWS songs, i just knew that after you and Shii wanted to do the harmonies ^^ just continue mixing them like you always have, maybe you should try to balance the volume of them with the melody since most of the harmonies are kind of soft
